{"id":24489,"date":"2023-03-20T09:46:33","date_gmt":"2023-03-20T09:46:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fxglobe.wpenginepowered.com\/fear-of-recession-mounts\/"},"modified":"2023-07-01T19:54:42","modified_gmt":"2023-07-01T19:54:42","slug":"fear-of-recession-mounts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/pt-pt\/fear-of-recession-mounts\/","title":{"rendered":"Fear Of Recession Mounts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Good morning Traders!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The events of the last couple of weeks has shaken investors confident, and the odds placed on a recession (rather than a soft landing) has risen substantially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crude Oil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/crude-oils-slippery-slope\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"24370\">Crude Oil<\/a>, which is sensitive to recession fears, has been in a sideways market since the lows it reached in December 2022. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/when-is-a-market-over-extended\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"24548\">market<\/a> has finally broken below the consolidation area, and continued lower to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/09\/23\/business\/oil-prices-low\/index.html\">trade<\/a>, and close below the December 2022 lows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/CL-D-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11008\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Weekly chart is in a confirmed downtrend, where as on the Monthly chart, the push lower looks more like a deeper pullback than a change of trend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/CL-W-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11013\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll be looking for a pullback to release some of this strong selling pressure, into the breakout level around the area of 72.50, then I\u2019ll be looking for a rollover setup. Next potential area of strong S\/R may be around the Monthly chart swing Higher Low, around the level of 62.00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/CL-M-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11018\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Happy Trading!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning Traders!
