Increasing inflation, global political instability, and ongoing ripple effects of COVID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was demonstrated clearly in the markets, when we saw the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/usdjpy-pullback\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"28593\">USD<\/a> become the central axis uniting all asset classes. If the dollar moved, so did almost every other major instrument against it in some sort of well-coordinated dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From October 2022 however, things appeared to ease, with asset classes uncoupling from the USD. We saw Crude Oil drop, Gold climb, and even the JPY relax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, the markets appear to be sliding back into a similar co-ordinated dance. Could this mean a return to the same types of market moves we saw dominate most of last year? Yes, quite possibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We still don\u2019t have inflation under control, Russia is still in Ukraine, with increasing tensions now against NATO nations, and even COVID still rampant in many parts of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How does that translate to the charts?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, it means traders could move on the banks of a falling (read: trending) series of markets; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/the-key-differences-between-major-currencies-you-must-understand\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"31503\">Majors<\/a> in FX, Commodities, Indices and even Cryptos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Charts such as these could come into serious focus:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/FXGDP_EURUSDMonthly-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10145\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/FXGDP_Gold_SpotMonthly-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10150\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/FXGDP_US500_SpotMonthly-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10155\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fxglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/FXGDP_USDJPYMonthly-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10160\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Happy Trading!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome Traders!
